Magic Potion isopods are a stunning and beginner-friendly morph of the common pillbug, prized for their distinctive milky-white bodies adorned with bold yellow and black flecks. No two individuals look identical, making each colony visually captivating.

These isopods are notably bold and active, frequently visible during the day—unlike shyer species. They thrive at room temperature (18–26 °C) with medium humidity and a gradient enclosure setup. As hardy detritivores, they feed on decaying wood and leaf litter, requiring only occasional calcium supplementation and protein sources.

Perfect for beginners, Magic Potions tolerate minor care mistakes and establish thriving colonies with minimal effort. Two primary lines are available: the American line, bred for heavier yellow coloration and larger size, and the Japanese line, featuring the Dalmatian pigment mutation with fewer yellow markings.

Ideal for bioactive terrariums, clean-up crews, or as fascinating pets in their own right.
