Cubaris sp. Pak Chong "Orange"
Cubaris sp. Pak Chong "Orange" — a stunning tropical isopod from Thailand. These moderately hardy invertebrates can roll into a protective ball when threatened.
Maintain temperatures between 22–26°C with humidity levels of 60–80% using a moisture gradient. House them in a well-ventilated container with 7–10 cm of nutrient-rich substrate combining coconut fibre, decaying wood, and leaf litter. Provide hiding spots with bark pieces or cork tubes.
Feed a varied diet of decaying leaves, white rotting wood, and vegetables such as carrot or squash. Supplement with protein a couple of times weekly and always offer a calcium source like cuttlefish bone.
Ideal for intermediate keepers, Pak Chong isopods make an excellent introduction to more advanced Cubaris species.
Shipped as Juveniles, mixed.
