Cubaris sp. "White Panda" — a striking leucitic morph of the beloved Panda King isopod. This rare captive-derived variant displays a pristine white or pale cream body with completely white legs, antennae, and often translucent eyes, making it a stunning addition to any invertebrate collection.

Adults reach 1 to 1.2 cm and are notably more secretive and nocturnal than standard Panda Kings, preferring to burrow and hide beneath bark and moss. They thrive in warm, humid conditions between 22–26°C with 70–80% humidity maintained via a moisture gradient.

Provide a deep substrate of coconut fibre, decaying hardwood, and sphagnum moss. Feed decaying leaves, rotting wood, supplementary vegetables like squash or carrots, and calcium sources such as cuttlebone. Occasional protein supplements like fish flakes twice weekly support optimal health.

A specialist species best suited to experienced keepers seeking a unique, visually distinctive isopod.

Shipped as juveniles, mixed.
