Incubation is straightforward: place eggs on moist vermiculite, coconut fibre, or paper towel and maintain a stable temperature of 20–25°C (Room temperature). Lightly mist every couple of days to keep the substrate damp without waterlogging. Ensure good ventilation and ambient light exposure. Hatching typically occurs within 4–5 months, though can extend to 7–8 months depending on conditions.

Monitor regularly for mould and remove any affected eggs promptly. This species reproduces through parthenogenesis, meaning unfertilized eggs will still hatch into healthy nymphs.

Once hatched, nymphs thrive on bramble, oak, beech, and raspberry leaves in a tall, well-ventilated enclosure with 65–75% humidity and room-temperature conditions.
