These vibrant clean-up crew members efficiently process decaying matter, mould, and waste while their nutrient-dense exoskeletons provide occasional protein for reptiles and amphibians.

Exceptionally hardy and prolific breeders, they're perfect for keepers of all experience levels. They thrive at 18–26°C with moderate to high humidity, preferring a damp zone and dry shelter. Feed decaying wood, leaf litter, fresh vegetables, and calcium sources like cuttlefish bone.
